Bernie Sanders: Racist and Sexists Make Up a Very Small Minority of Trump Voters
You hear that, whiny young libs? Even your idol admits this election win was not really about racism or sexism.
I will go even further by stating that racists and sexists make up a very small minority of Democrat voters too. Yes, there are undoubtedly some in all parties. I’ve come across them. But they are all outliers.
^that’s not how that works btw. The act of voting for someone who is racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic etc. is in and of itself an act of if not hate at least apathy to the welfare of minorities/marginalized groups. So no maybe you don’t go around calling black people the n word or grabbing pussies but your vote says “I don’t actually give a shit about your safety or rights. He says I might get to make EVEN MORE money so fuck you and your liberal gay agenda feminazi.” Which in case you are wondering makes you a racist/sexist etc.
So…if I understand your poorly written reply correctly, you still believe just by voting for Trump somehow inherently makes you racist/sexist. Welp, if the king of idiots, Bernie Sanders, cannot convince you I am not sure who can.
Indisputable facts: Donald Trump based a large portion of his campaign rhetoric and platform off of racist, bigoted, sexist, xenophobic, and fascist remarks, opening an endorsement from the KKK while thousands of American’s online increase racist and xenophobic rhetoric.
Upon his election, hundreds of hate crimes are reported around the country, sprayed graffiti written on the signs and walls of schools and churches depicting hatred towards African Americans and Hispanic immigrants.
Trump starts filling his cabinet with openly antisemitic, islamaphobic, and racist people with history of (Bannon, Flynn, Sessions) racist and sexists remarks and politics. One who was openly denied a judge position based on his support of the KKK and remarks about race betrayal of lawyers who defend blacks and civil rights activist. And one who ran the site Brietbart. A toxic cess-pool of click bait articles, Alex Jones conspiracy, and racist and sexist articles.
But you’re right, there’s not a bit of racism there. This is America’s favorite past time after all. Denying and neglecting historical and current abuses of social and economical exploitation and degradation upon marginalized minorities. If we pretend it doesn’t exist, maybe it’ll go away!
Also, for someone to support Trump, a man who outsourced his jobs to China and Mexico and neglected to pay taxes for 18 years leaving the burden on the working and Middle class, and took out multiple loans from his father in his early years because of consistent business failures and inherited his unearned wealth from his father’s estate and bankrupted countless of business while claiming we live in a meritocracy, you have no grounds to call Bernie Sanders the king of idiots. Democratic socialist and idiot is a contradiction. It order to be considered an idiot, he would have to at least be an Austrian economist who actively reveres Milton Friedman, a proven failure in economical theory and practice.
Tough luck, sugartits. But once again, you’re wrong.
since conservatives seem to love either bringing up MLK and his legacy when chastising BLM and black people for rioting and since they love talking about Christian and traditional values I’m going leave this here for you:
“the first question that the Levite asked was, “If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?” But then the Good Samaritan came by. And he reversed the question: “If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?”
The fact that so many people could look past the overt racism and bigotry of Donald Trump and decided to cast their vote for him because they felt his hateful ideology would not translate in to a worse situation for them is clear evidence that while you may not be an overt bigot, to be at all complicit in the normalization of such hateful ideology amounts to moral culpability. We as human beings have a responsibility to the universality of the human condition. That’s why racism, bigotry, and xenophobia are so immoral. You can choose to deny the racism, bigotry and xenophobia but that doesn’t actually abdicate the responsibility human beings as human beings have to beat back ideologies of inferiority and domination.
Instead of quoting scripture, perhaps you should start with providing actual evidence that Donald Trump is a bigot and a racist. I believe even conservatives will agree that Trump has said some very stupid and lewd things but pardon me if I personally have not seen anything I would deem racist.
So, instead of trying to fallaciously guilt every Trump voter by association to the handful of white supremacists who happen to support him, the onus is on you to make an actual case to why Trump is overtly racist. Until then, you’re just pissing into the wind because nobody cares that you label them racist, sexist, bigoted, homophobic, xenophobic, etc because there is zero evidence of that being the case.
You’ve seen no evidence? Stevie Wonder has, but evidently you’re not alone.
How about the Central Park five? And the cruel racist irony that a sexual predator put out an ad in The NY Times calling for the execution of 5 black boys wrongly convicted of rape/killing a white woman. It’s not so ironic that the youngest person in modern amerikkkan history to be executed was a 14 year old black boy wrongly accused and convicted, or we might say racially accused and convicted, of raping/killing a white woman.
Or how about the fact he announced he was running for president by calling Mexicans rapists, murderers, and drug dealers? That’s not bigoted or xenophobic?
Put it in short clips from TV. That’s all his tiny little mind can comprehend.
Hold up, I ask for evidence that Trump is a racist and instead I get:
A pamphlet about the history of lynching. Why? Who knows?
An article about how Trump believed the Central Park Five were guilty, as most people did at the time…because they were convicted in a court of law.
A court case from 1973 against Trump and his father’s real estate company which the Department of Justice alleged he was discriminating against black renters. The case was settled through consent decree which is not an admission of guilt.
A very terribly edited video using Trump’s awful rhetoric over top video and photos from the civil rights era. (I am not even kidding.)
A website with a bunch of links to other liberal articles spouting the same handful of libel, hearsay, guilt by association, and news stories somehow tied to racism because they involved minorities to some degree.
And of course, the infamous blurb, “When Mexico sends over its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They are sending people who have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problem to us. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, their rapists. And some I assume are good people.” Terribly uncouth? Yes. Racist? No.
This is all Mickey Mouse accusations really trying to find anything they can to label Trump a racist. If he even happened to sneeze in the general direction of a minority, they are going to pin it as an act of racism because when you cannot criticize him on his policies (which in Trump’s case should be easy to do) you have to resort to calling him a racist, sexist, homophobe, bigot, Islamaphobe, Nazi, etc. It’s pretty weak stuff. Even your messiah, Bernie knows better.
On a side note, I honestly hope I do not end up spending the next couple years defending Trump from this petty meaningless crap.
